the Rushbearing and Christmas concerts at St Chad’s church in Farndon and even a couple of weddings. Not to mention Christmas carols around local villages, as well as entertaining stressed shoppers in Chester and Wrexham.

If you would like to become involved with the Farndon & District Brass Band in any way from volunteer, to player of any age or experience, please contact us or come along to any of our events or rehearsals and have a cup of tea and a chat. The uniformed figure on the left, thought to be Roland Ince, wears a uniform of a kind used in the Boer War 1899-1902. In 1914 the tunic was replaced by a jacket with an open collar which showed the shirt and tie.
